Happy Dashera!

Today is Dashera, the tenth day of Navratri, one of the biggest religious festivals in India.

The whole country has been decorated and I'm taking this opportunity to publish another themed series, this time featuring flower garlands which are seen everywhere around the city today. But have a look yourself ...

Street vendors selling flower garlands

Decoration at traditional Indian shops ...

Professional service companies ...

Individual service companies ...

International brand outlets...

National brand stores ...

But also means of transportation like rikshaws...

Privately owned cars...

more of them...

Motor bikes...

Scooters...

and bycycles.

Similarly homes have a festive outlook...

and you can buy these garlands nearly everywhere...

naturally also at the roadside.

Even construction sites are part of the celebrations...

... and so are trees.

Wishing you all a Happy Dashera ...
