Two days of non-posting is more than enough thinks your host and is resuming publishing today with a variety of topics:
1.) First and foremost 'Happy Diwali' to all of my Hindu readers who celebrate the victory of good over evil at this important religious festival also known as the festival of lights. While being in India during the last few weeks I could witness a similar shopping craze and a busy preparatory mood like we have coming our way in a few weeks from now before christmas.
2.) Talking about christmas: as many news publications across the world have reported the small West Polish town of Swiebodzin is now home to the world's largest Jesus statue putting Rio's 'Christ The Redeemer' to the second spot (more on this here).
3.) While spending quality time at the coffee place of my choice I was introduced to coffee as a new cosmetic product, namely as a "body scrub". Supposedly (I haven't tried it yet) mixing some ground coffee with brown sugar, olive oil and/or honey as well as your shower gel makes it a perfect exfoliating scrub. Additionally the caffeine contained in the coffee is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties as well as antioxidant effects - at least that's what the cosmetics industry is claiming after launching some new products containing caffeine.
4.) Finally (and no worries, Memonji's World will not become a beauty site!) I was stunned - well, in fact shocked as well as speechless - when I came to know about the existence of eyelash conditioner. Perhaps this is no breaking news (btw - Breaking News is the title of a new Michael Jackson single which has just been released) to my female readers, but I am sure the male population must be aat least as surprised as I was and continue to be after discovering this product. Using hair conditioner after shampooing is usual practice and I think by now I've gotten used to the fact that - in comparison to most guys - the female world can and is putting much more importance as well as money into a multitude of hair as well as other cosmetic products, but eyelash conditioner??? C'mon .... that's even worse than eyelash extensions which is another thing I just learned about few days ago while researching more information on the currently available eyelash conditioners (apparently Revitalash seems to be the market leader)...
Seriously considering launching a earlobe moisturising cream product line ...
